Egypt’s strawberry season is now drawing to a close, with overall volumes tapering off as we move into the summer period.
While there have been some ongoing challenges around compliance requirements in certain markets, suppliers have made significant progress and continue to deliver strong standards. Importantly, fruit quality has remained consistently good, with reliable sizing and colour across key shipments.
As availability declines, we recommend customers begin planning ahead and securing their strawberry requirements for the next 12 months to ensure continuity of supply. Early commitment will help mitigate risk and maintain access to Egypt’s competitive and dependable programme.
